Toonami has returned.

For 11 years Toonami was the defining block of television for a generation. It almost single-handedly brought Anime into the mainstream, and gave millions of viewers a higher sense of philosophy and purpose with shows that had more depth than other contemporary animation had to offer (DCAU, Samurai Jack, and other outliers aside).
I witnessed first hand Toonami's final broadcast in 2008 from my apartment. I grieved with the rest of my generation that grew up with it and saw it in its better days... the days before Cartoon Network's decline.
Do not expect this to be a time capsule. Do not celebrate the return of exactly what had been. Toonami was never stagnant, never "the same" for too long. Look forward to the new and the exciting. Hope and pray for the return of Anime programs which can hold a candle to the boundary breaking line-ups that made Toonami great years ago.
Once again, the revolution will be televised.

Well, everything bad from the past year and a half doesn't matter any more in approximately 20 minutes (Wed/Thurs July 25/26 @ 12 midnight, Central).
It is with a heavy heart that I announce to those reading this that Paradigm-City.com has officially shut down its forums after 4 1/2 years of service to the "Big O" community and anime fans across the internet.
This was a place of eager anticipation, a place of people young and old marveling and drooling over a series that is so very underappreciated.... THE BIG O :)

Long time no type folks. But I dare say this is the most astonishing thing I've heard in a LONG time. We just got our class rankings for our grade...I'm #15 O_O Which means (in a very sloppy analysis) only 14 people are doing better academically than me!! I was suprised the rankings some of my friends got...but still those numbers are a helluva lot better than MANY other people in our class, so I give you worthless bums a pat on the back for doing better than 80% of our grade :w00t:
