Description
A long while ago I uploaded a sketch of a fan-megadeus idea called Big Band.... (for those who don't know, a megadeus is a giant humanoid-ish robot from "The Big O")
Well with me now at college I never actually completed the sketch, BUT! I have been working on it through hours of manipulating in MS Paint. I've still got a long way to go (ignoring the fact that it still has no legs). From what I can see, its arms need to be slightly smaller, the "base" plate connecting the upper+lower arms needs to be bigger, and the hands (obviously) need to be smaller.
The only way for me to add details would be to drawing them in and then scan them into my computer...unfortunately I don't have a scanner (down here at college) nor colored pencils (nor do I want to by any!).
The picture above shows my progression from original Upload (still here on DA) to where I am at now. The "megadeus" design itself even in the show is out of proportion (so not everything is as it would be if you enlarged a human body to 20 stories...it ain't no Evangelion or Gundam) ...but getting it to "show proportions" is very difficult (at least for me). So anyone who'd wish to make any suggestions or pointers on the proportions of the head, arms, or hands (pointers that'll help me get them looking like Big Fau) ARE VERY WELCOMED!
...of course regular comments like "ooooo I liek that!" are also welcome ^_^

Big Fau(The Final 'Big' ) had similar proportions(big ass hands). In fact this does seem to be a derivative of that design. Your design seems to and even more ' pure' close combat megadeus than even Big-O. Fau had mid shoulder cannons for forward firepower, and tentacle mounted beam weapon pods on its back the hovered over the shoulders in use. Not to mention a near impenetrable force shield always on. That and its hands could spin opposite the direction of the paddle like impellers on the cuff of each arm. Some say it was the aquatic megadeus(Duo being the Air unit and Big-O the land unit) as well as a command unit(maybe a later upgrade by Paradigm/Alex Rosewater). Of course the final weapon is that both arms contain a giant missile(kinda like Big-Duo's leg missiles) in which the entire fist/impeller assembly launches out of the arm taking the rear arm thruster with it(as the missiles booster), the hands/fists/impellers are spinning ever faster as this happens. This does leave the Big Fau unit with two(useless) empty(hand less) arm cavities.
